You know TinyURL? Well, it turns out that TinyURL now has a feature that lets you select a custom URL for the one you're "shrinking." Cool, but I don't think it'll last. The potential for abuse is pretty high, as you can clearly see here.

Well, here's a no-brainer for the Dems. John McCain has a number of ugly stories in the air today. First, the one that broke today: he maybe was nailing (and doing "favors" for) a lobbyist during his last major campaign. Second, Mr. "Straight Talk" has been caught gaming the public campaign financing system, trying to use our money as collateral for a campaign loan while claiming that he hadn't actually accepted public funding.

Now, media hype aside, we here at Chaos Digest know perfectly well that John McCain is a lying, Bush-hugging, war-mongering, socially, economically and morally backward piece of shit. This is something of a given, even among his own party.

My concern is this: why am I not hearing more about this from Hillary and Obama?

Obama is quiet. Clinton's already spreading the fear that Obama won't weather GOP attacks well, but she hasn't said boo to McCain, either. Today's news makes this one a slam dunk, and neither of them are moving on it. I think they need to start leaving an "I'm gonna kick some GOP ass" aftertaste soon, and there's not going to be an easier opportunity to get it going.

Time to show some teeth, Blues.
