I saw this on TV this weekend, and it literally scared the bejezus out of me. I turned on just as the eggs start crying. You can imagine my confusion.

What's sad is no only is this considered legitimate children's programming, but its actually made by Americans not Japanese, as I feel is the style they're trying to copy.

This show actually made Fi go "whoa, that is weird." Nothing surprises me since Telletubbies. What was with that show Boobah (sp)? All I can figure is it was an acid trip with some colorful alien scrota.

It turns out, the babbling and colorful flashy stuff may actually delay speech acquisition and retard social development - the Baby Einstein model is not good for babies. Having entire conversations is much more productive and entertaining for them as they are able to discern content words from their native tongue at birth.

OK, I looked at the guide when I got home. Apparently Biz Markie is part of the show.

Mark's Magic Pictures, featuring Mark Mothersbaugh, teaching viewers how to draw a certain object or animal

Biz's Beat of the Day, starring Biz Markie, demonstrating new beatboxing beats

The Super Music Friends Show, featuring musical guests

Dancey Dance Time, featuring celebrity guests performing their own dance moves with the characters

We have Dancey Dancey Time at my house every day.
