Well, that was unexpected.

Keep an eye out for a corn tsunami later this morning.

I feel the earth move under my feet...

Actually, I don't. I slept right through it. The corn tsunami has not yet hit the south suburbs.

Here, it would be hard to tell apart from Metra train or landscape crew truck.

I will keep an eye out for the oak tsunami. I wonder if the lake had a seiche (or the bathroom fixtures).

AJ and I slept through it as well. Oddly enough, we were supposed to be camping but because we were worried about a possible thunderstorm all Friday, we went back to my apt (30min from Spring Wars camp out), and still didn't notice. My cat's didn't wake me up, and nothing fell down despite the mess my apt is in.

Others in class said they felt the shake and thought it was a tornado or something, but I reckon in reality it was nothing worse than a meth-lab-blow around here, and those are fairly common anyhow.
