At the DNC Rules Panel, Donna Brazile, Superdelegate and Rules Committee Member, owns Clinton Supporter, Governor Blanchard, by stating:

"My mama taught me to play by the rules and respect the rules..."

"When you decide to change the rules, especially, in the middle of the game, it's called cheating."

I can't believe those idiots were even given any sort of consideration or face time to complain about the way they were being treated. They knew the penalties, and still they said 'fuck you' to the DNC. Well, a big 'fuck you' back should have been the _only_ response they ever received.

This is the best response I can think of:

yeah, Donna does rock.

Did you see her on the Colbert Report when she was talking dirty to him? Awesome.

Will Hillary ever concede the election? Or is her Ego just too big for anyone to contain it?

I think (and hope) it is not that simplistic. I think it can be asserted that anyone willing to run for this office suffers from excess ego.

The fact that so many people turned out for primaries that are not usually a big draw is groundbreaking and means something much deeper than a vote for/against Clinton or Obama. Keeping the democratic race going for this long has drawn more voters and made more people interested in the process. These are all also likely to be voters in the fall, and likely to the advantage of the democratic nominee. It is never going to be bad for democrats to stir up the electorate - traditionally more engaged voters means better odds for the dems. This runs deeper than the usual bus loads of conservatives that can be stirred for brief periods on single issues.

Besides, events like this are making John McCain blunder more.

That every state got to participate is great for this country. Which is why it makes Florida and Michigan look silly because they would have had their votes count if they would have just followed the DNC rules. I agree totally with Donna Brazile. You break the rules, there should be a penalty.

The primaries need to be rework though. I think the Election Season is WAAAAY too long and they wasted WAAAY too much money. I think there should be maybe three dates of Voting over 2 Months perhaps. The states that get to Vote First rotate each election year. Seems more fair. More democratic.

Anyhow, it seems Hillary still has not conceded that Obama has won the primary. It seems she wants to rewrite the rules so that she can win. And for what? Her ego has gotten awfully heavy and I fear she may drag the Democratic Party down with it. Of course, you have to add Bill's ego to this as well.

I hope there will be reconcilliation within the party. But it will be difficult if Hillary keeps agitating the arguement.
