I find this absolutely amazing

Now this is the reason I have been so strongly behind Obama. Perhaps, just perhaps, there might be some real, substantive change in DC come 2009.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and the Obama for America Campaign today announced that the DNC will no longer accept Washington lobbyist donations, making the same commitment as Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

Of course, this only apparently applies to just the DNC. It would be nice to see apply to everyone in the whole party.
