Elemental and I are crazy about Sonic, and I'm happy to say it's finally come here. We were planning on going for his birthday, but it sounds like it's going to be quite busy out there for a while. Maybe later this fall. Anyone up for a road trip to Aurora?

We've stopped a couple of times in Missouri. As I remember they were pretty good. Kinda like the modified drive-in vibe.

I dig it, but "Fast food" would be an understatement. Among my Southern relatives, this native cuisine is respected for its ironic name. You can get similar colon cleansing goodness & drive- in vibes from Dog-N-Suds, PLUS a fantastic root beer float.

We stopped by there today,

We stopped by there today, and the wait for the drive thru was 1 hour. If you wanted to eat at the bays, the wait was almost 2 hours. Needless to say, we'll be waiting a while before we head back there.
